Hi Erin

What do you use to prop up both babies head and bum, so back is slightly arched downward and you get those cute little rolls on the side of their tummy.I've tried rolling up blankets putting under head , but I never get it right for the bottom.

Thanks

Hi Erin

love the pic! I was wondering if you can share the dimensions of your blankets?

Also, what happens if the baby goes to the bathroom on the blanket doesn't it soak through to the other blankets? Also, does baby dodo stain?

thanks

Hey your pictures are awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. Just wondering do you ever use reflectors at all? I took newborn pictures for a friend a couple weeks ago and the home was so very dark even next to the window I ended up using flash...big no no with newborns so I understand! I bounced it off the wall and the pictures came out decent (mom was thrilled so thats what counts!) but it got me thinking about how to best face this problem if it comes up again! I have a canon T1i and was using my canon 35mm 1.4 lens.... my husband suggested I might have better luck if we invested in a better camera but I thought maybe a reflector would do the trick? Any insight is appreciated I'm doing some for another friend next week! Thank you!!

Hi Erin,

I'm wanting to start my own portable newborn studio. What do you do if there's no big windows letting in a lot of light? Do you also take lighting with you?

Thanks!

Thanks so much for all the tips Erin. It's really great to get some helpful advice when starting out.

I just had a quick question about your macro shots. Do you use f/1.8 on your macro lens? I am having a really hard time getting my focus with this lens. Do you have any tips?
