WHAT TO EXPECT

Erin Elizabeth Photography is a 100% natural light photographer, who offers award winning newborn and family portraiture.  Newborn sessions take place at Erin’s Mullaloo studio.  Newborn sessions must be done during the first 5-10 days of life, so it’s best to book your newborn session while you are still expecting.

Maternity sessions take place either in the studio or at an outdoor location of your choice.  These are offered as mini sessions (10-12 images in your gallery) as an add-on to a full newborn session.  When booking a maternity session, you will have Erin’s full range of maternity gowns, drapes, and fabrics to choose from for your session, or if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own clothing.

Family sessions are held outdoors in the evenings.  Erin specialises in beach sessions, but there are plenty of locations that would make a great backdrop for your family’s portraits – the park, an urban street, a friend’s farm, even an old junkyard!  Since every child and family is unique, she would be happy to help you choose a location that suits your family’s personality.  Outdoor sessions take place approximately 45 minutes prior to sunset to get that beautiful golden light.  Beach sessions take place on Mullaloo Beach, a gorgeous quiet beach in the northern suburbs of Perth.

Erin recommends allowing 45-60 minutes (2-3 hours for newborns) for your session. She encourages you to ensure your child is as well rested as possible with a full tummy.  While there is some basic posing involved, children are encouraged to play and run, to capture your family as they are.  It’s sometimes these moments that create the best images!

Erin Elizabeth Photography’s style is very relaxed, artistic, and candid.  Her goal is to capture the personality of your child, and the love of your family in truly original artworks for your home.  The smiles and giggles, the funny faces, and all the details that make your child and family unique.
