Lovely set Erin, the portrait of the girl framed by the brick arch is great. Makes me want to take off my trusty 24 -70 mm lens and pop on my 85 and play (although not a L sadly ….. dreams) ….. Great work.

Eamon | Perth Newborn Photographer

Meet Eamon.

Eamon is, without a doubt, one of the most gorgeous babies I’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph. At 3 weeks old (three times older than my normal newborn age!) he had the most beautiful creamy skin. He wasn’t too much of a fan of sleeping for us, but we managed to wear him out eventually

I traveled to Kansas City to meet Eamon and he was definitely worth the trip! This session was a bit of a challenge in that I didn’t have any of my normal tools. We did this session with no bean bag, no backdrop stand, no white noise, no space heater, only two blankets, very limited props, and a teeny tiny little desk to put him on. Luckily, I love a good challenge and I LOVE how these turned out.

AIPP NSW Epson Professional Photography Awards | Perth Family Photographer

I have such exciting news to share!!

Earlier this year, I joined the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. I decided to enter the annual Epson Professional Photography Awards, even though due to the high level of competition I thought it would be very unlikely I would win anything.

So imagine my absolute shock and delight when I discovered that not only did I win several awards, but I was also named runner up for the NSW Family Photographer of the Year! I am beyond thrilled and proud, not to mention delighted that all of my hard work is finally starting to pay off. Although very rewarding, it’s been a long hard road. It’s so satisfying to see the fruits of my labor start to emerge.

Below you’ll see the four images I entered in the competition. My apologies for the small images…I am actually in the Caribbean on holidays at the moment (blog post with pics coming soon!) and I forgot to bring the larger versions with me. You get the idea anyway

Olivia Grace | Perth Newborn Photographer

Meet Olivia.

9-day-old Olivia was just the most gorgeous little thing! She was also one of the biggest sleep-fighters I’ve come across…so much so that we even discussed throwing in the towel and coming back on another day. But luckily we decided to keep on trucking and we ended up getting the goods in the end Olivia’s mum was a hairdresser, and the thing that finally pushed little Olivia into falling asleep was turning on the hair dryer. I guess she was quite used to that sound in the womb!

Olivia was also the exact same birth weight and length as my daughter. It’s hard to believe how quickly they grow. That’s why I’m so glad when I get to capture photos like these. They are this tiny for such a small fleeting moment. Enjoy your sneak peek, Olivia and family! You are all adorable

Twins! | Perth Newborn Photographer

Meet Annabelle and Sophia.

These two gorgeous girls were an absolute dream to work with. At five pounds each, they were soooo tiny and adorable.

Annabelle and Sophia are identical twins, and at nine days old their parents had already worked out a few little tricks to tell them apart. My personal favourite was painting Annabelle’s thumbnail with pink nail polish! Haha. It was clear that these girls are just so loved. And how could they not be with these beautiful faces??
