Meet the W family.
The first thing I thought when I got out of my car and saw the W family was “Seriously?? SERIOUSLY????”. I mean, families as cute as this exist in magazines and commercials, but never in real life! Yet, here they were, standing in front of me…and I got to spend an absolutely gorgeous Sydney summer evening photographing them. Talk about hitting the jackpot!
Not only were they beyond adorable, but the kids (Deakin (6), Lillyahna (4), and Preston (4 months) were so outgoing and hilarious. Most of the time, I have to spend the first 15 or 20 minutes of a photo session getting the kids to warm up to me. But there was ZERO need for that here. Deakin and Lil walked straight up to me and started chatting away about their day from the second I said hello. And even baby Preston was full of smiles from the start. It was so cute!
I was especially excited for this session, because we had quite literally been planning it for months. Cristine contacted me back in November to schedule a session for her husbands very short leave from Afghanistan. However, the weather was just not on our side and we had near flash floods the night before and day of the shoot. We postponed until the next week, only to be faced with another weekend of rain. Oh, the luck! We ended up just deciding to let it go until Glenn returned for good in January, and I’m so glad we did…it was the most perfectly gorgeous day!
I hope you love your sneak peek, W family. You are absolutely adorable.

Beautiful images. Would you mind telling me if you used fabric or a blanket in the shot of Ashton on the pink? Thanks. I love this fabric/blanket.
